A beautiful morning spent with beautiful people. An outing organised by Shaz & Aidil http://greenmoneypenny.blogspot.com/ was much anticipated by 24 bloggers cum volunteers. Like myself, mostly are first timers in volunteering and i should say it was a fruitful and great experience for all of us. A great challenge for me and hubby.. Hee hee.. so much stories to tell but it was a great day. Even though we were late, stuck in a jam, walked under the hot sun n rain... But the smiles on their faces, the joy that they are having just melts me away. I simply can't describe my true feeling.. its so marvelous...
Ok so we started with a Movie called Ratatouille.. a cute and funny show.. the kids just laugh along with the rest and i know they really enjoyed the show.
After the very enjoyable movie, we headed off to have lunch over at Cafe le Caire to have a sumptious arabic fare. It was really yummy!
We mingled with the kids..Boys & girls and share our thoughts and passion. A great moment i should say. We joked, we laugh, we cam whore.. hahahh my cam was camnapped by the kids.. Oh they love phototaking...
Then its time to head back to the Home.. and it rain the moment we stepped out.. The kids were so happy to run in the rain.. I opened up my umbrella to shelter the younger kids..and they happily walked closely cuddled with me towards our chartered bus...
Alhamdulillah we reached the Home safely and dry.. hehehe. before we end the day, we handed out some goody bags for the kids. They smiled instantly on looking to the nicely done goody box by Eja. So creative and personalised.. I love it too
I can't wait for the next event... I won't want to miss it...
